China through Robert Scoble’s eyes

关于最近微软在MSN Spaces 中国版上禁止使用“自由”、“民主”等词作为标题一事,微软的员工 Robert Scoble(不知道其具体头衔,据称是technical evangelist)在自己blog上说,他遇到的中国教授/学生都持anti-free-speech stance 。
此公当真一语惊人。当然,不排除他遇到的人有说反对美国式民主的。但一言以蔽之,把他遇到的人乃至全中国人都看成anti-free-speech ,实在让我惊讶。Just like Robert Scoble said,”I’m not Chinese. I’m American. ” While,I’m not American, I am Chinese. but 中国人也是人啊,难道就不喜欢自由民主?自由民主这几个词可是白纸黑字写在《中华人民共和国宪法》里的啊。每次党的会议都说要建立富强民主的现代化社会,发展社会主义民主政治,要保证人民言论自由,这一下咋整成我们都anti-free-speech 了呢?
我一贯对国外blogger不关注,因此曾到我blog留言的Rebecca Mackinnon女士,我都居然不知道她是赫赫有名的blogger,真是有眼不识泰山。
